1. General Information — Updated Version
Restart-se provides professional Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Relaxation Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Cupping Therapy, Dry Needling, Reiki Healing, and integrated treatments, all delivered according to ethical and clinical standards.
All services are performed based on professional assessment and within safe and appropriate limits for each client. Treatment may be refused or modified if it is considered clinically unsafe or contraindicated.
2. Booking Policy
Accurate personal and health information is required. Late arrival may reduce treatment time.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
To protect the therapist’s time and ensure fair access to appointments for all clients, the following policy applies:
• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
• Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the total cost of the booked service.
• No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged 100% of the full treatment fee.
• Prepaid sessions, packages, promotional offers, or vouchers will be forfeited if the client cancels late or does not attend.
• Fees must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled.
• Exceptions may be considered only in cases of medical emergency at the therapist’s discretion.
4. Payment Policy
Payment is required at booking or on arrival. Promotions, packages, or vouchers are non-refundable.
5.Health & Safety
You confirm all health info is truthful. Massage is not a replacement for medical care. Unsafe conditions may require session modification.
6. Dry Needling Consent
By booking a treatment at Restart-se, you acknowledge that Dry Needling may be offered as part of your remedial therapy, when clinically appropriate. Dry Needling involves the insertion of fine, single-use sterile needles into muscle tissue to release tension, improve mobility, and support pain reduction.
Before receiving this technique, the therapist will explain the procedure, benefits, possible sensations, and any associated risks. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and may decline the technique at any time.
You understand and agree that:
• Dry Needling is optional and will only be performed with your explicit verbal consent.
• Potential side effects may include temporary soreness, bruising, minor bleeding, fatigue, or lightheadedness.
• Rare but possible risks include infection or pneumothorax (lung puncture), and you confirm that the therapist has informed you of these risks.
• You will inform the therapist immediately if you experience discomfort beyond what is expected.
• You must disclose any medical conditions, medications, or contraindications that may affect the safety of Dry Needling.
• The therapist reserves the right to refuse or modify Dry Needling if clinically necessary.
By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you understand this information and consent to Dry Needling when recommended by the therapist.
7. Insurance Claims - HICAPS & Health Fund Claim Policy
Restart-se offers health fund rebates for Remedial Massage through eligible Australian insurers, using the therapist’s Provider Number. Please note:
• Rebates apply only to full-priced Remedial Massage services.
• Promotional offers, gift vouchers, discounted sessions or packages are not eligible for health fund claims.
• The client is responsible for checking their own health fund eligibility and rebate amount.
• HICAPS on-the-spot claiming is subject to system availability; if unavailable, a receipt will be provided for manual claiming.
• False, fraudulent, or intentionally incorrect claims will not be processed under any circumstance.
• Claims can only be issued for the person who received the treatment, and only on the day the service was performed.
• The therapist reserves the right to refuse issuing receipts that do not comply with health fund regulations.
8. Gift Vouchers & Packages
Valid until expiry, non-refundable, transferable only if unused.
9. Client Conduct
Inappropriate behaviour results in immediate termination of the session and potential ban.
10. Liability
Results vary. Restart-se is not responsible for conditions not disclosed or misuse of aftercare advice.
11. Updates
Terms may be updated and will always be available on the website.
